性格Geng Chen personality
Geng Chen is strong metal resting in moist, rich earth. It is one of the classic "Kui Gang" pillars, read as forceful and commanding. These people are bold, determined and natural leaders, decisive in a crisis. Softening their delivery helps them keep the loyalty they inspire.
坐星Sitting on Indirect Resource
You sit on the star of unusual insight: intuitive, independent and drawn to specialist, spiritual or technical knowledge.
长生Life stage: Nurture
Measured on the 12-phase cycle, 庚 on 辰 is at Nurture: being nurtured: gentle, supported by family, steady development.
纳音Nayin: White Wax Metal
Each pair of pillars shares one of 30 Nayin, or "sound" elements. Geng Chen belongs to White Wax Metal, pictured as white wax and tin: soft-looking metal that takes shape with refining. Nayin is an older layer of Chinese astrology and is read as a background image, not as your Day Master's element.

In BaZi the day branch is the spouse palace. For Geng Chen it holds the Dragon, which traditionally harmonises with the Rooster (six harmony) and the Monkey and Rat (three harmony), and clashes with the Dog.
The most harmonious day pillar for Geng Chen is Yi You (乙酉): its stem combines with yours and its branch forms a six-harmony pair (天合地合). The most challenging are Jia Xu (甲戌) and Bing Xu (丙戌): stem against stem and branch against branch (天克地冲). Other pillars in your chart matter more than this single pairing.
