纳音Nayin: White Wax Metal
Each pair of pillars shares one of 30 Nayin, or "sound" elements. Xin Si belongs to White Wax Metal, pictured as white wax and tin: soft-looking metal that takes shape with refining. Nayin is an older layer of Chinese astrology and is read as a background image, not as your Day Master's element.

In BaZi the day branch is the spouse palace. For Xin Si it holds the Snake, which traditionally harmonises with the Monkey (six harmony) and the Rooster and Ox (three harmony), and clashes with the Pig.
The most harmonious day pillar for Xin Si is Bing Shen (丙申): its stem combines with yours and its branch forms a six-harmony pair (天合地合). The most challenging are Yi Hai (乙亥) and Ding Hai (丁亥): stem against stem and branch against branch (天克地冲). Other pillars in your chart matter more than this single pairing.
