吉Signs supported by Tai Sui in 2027
Some signs get along well with the Goat. The Horse forms a Six Harmony pair with the Goat, the closest one-to-one bond in the zodiac. The Rabbit and the Pig share the Wood Alliance with the Goat. The Snake joins the Horse and Goat in the Fire Assembly. Tradition sees these signs as supported in 2027, with help arriving through other people.
The Tiger, Dragon, Monkey and Rooster have no special relationship with the Goat and start the year neutral.
太岁What is Tai Sui?
Tai Sui (太岁) began as an astronomical idea: a counter-planet moving opposite Jupiter, which takes about twelve years to circle the sky. Over centuries it became a deity, and then sixty deities, one general for each year of the sixty-year cycle. The general on duty in 2027, the Ding Wei year, is Miao Bing.
In BaZi astrology, Tai Sui is simply the year's Earthly Branch, Wei (Goat). Offending Tai Sui means your year branch clashes with, harms, punishes or duplicates Wei. That is a real factor in a chart, but only one of many: your Day Master and the balance of your Five Elements matter far more.
化解What people traditionally do in a Tai Sui year
- Pay respects at a temple. Many Taoist and Buddhist temples hold an “an Tai Sui” (安太岁) ceremony after Chinese New Year, often before the Lantern Festival on February 20, 2027.
- Carry a Tai Sui talisman for the year, then return or burn it at year end with thanks.
- Wear red, especially for the Goat's own year: a red string bracelet or red clothing at New Year.
- Respect the direction. Tai Sui sits in the southwest in 2027. Tradition avoids starting major renovation or digging in that part of the home, and in the opposite direction, northeast.
- Turn the energy into planned change. A clash year is often read as a year of movement. Choosing the move yourself is the gentler path.
- Keep plans steady. Read contracts, avoid risky bets, look after sleep and health routines.
These are traditional customs, shared for cultural interest. For entertainment.
